What kind of flower is a butterfly painted lady prefers to drink from?
I want to know because I had the kit Lore Butterfly Garden insects and I sent the coupon to caterpillars painted lady, but I do not know what kind of flowers, the butterflies like to drink
Butterflies are similar to hummingbirds. They are attracted by the bright colors SNA sweet scented flowers. So anything red or purple will generally their first choice. Flowers are endless red, pink, tall phlox, four o'clock ... I was lucky really well with my butterfly bushes and marigolds, and morning glories, Trumpet vines and clematis with all the butterflies and hummingbirds. Hummingbird feeders with the color red attracts butterflies too. A good clue is to see what the bees plants are around and you'll see butterflies feeding from the same flowers.
